So, if a LTA gets stung by a Carpet because it moved too close to the carpet, will it move or die?

They sometimes purposely move towards each other to try to kill each other. The end result is hard to predict. If they are interacting, I would remove one, but thats just me.

Well, the carpet doesn't move on it's own. It can't get out of where it is. It's also slated to be removed from this tank in favor of something more fish friendly.

The LTA was just placed in last night to give my clowns something to move to before I remove the carpet.

They really do like the LTA much better

I would post if for sale on the boards. It doesn't seem to fit into your plans for the tank, so why wait and possibly endanger the health of both anemones?

I have never seen a Haddoni exhibit acrorhagi. i think your confusing the common carpet and LTA with Anthopleura elegantissima. sometimes i gotta ask where you get your anemone info.
maybe its the one that got chicago...
