Adding a female blue throat trigger

Hi All,

I got a pair of blue throats several years ago. The female failed to thrive and I lost her. He is a favorite fish and I am considering adding a female. I have read one thread on Humblefish where this was done successfully.

He is very polite, never talks back in class and plays well with others. I love the sound of him snacking on nori or pooping his mouth when the tangs are being arses.

Any experience or thoughts ya’ll can share?

I’ve heard it’s 50/50 shot of them getting along also you really need to be sure it’s a female.
