advice on media reactors

I want to start running carbon & gfo so Ive been looking into media reactors. My question is actually two fold in nature so first, which is better, to run each media in its own reactor or can I get away with running a 60/40 mix? Second I am really stoked on avast marine's diy kits, they look so sweet, so if i was to run a mix would a 6 cup capacity reactor be enough for my 80 gal? I think it would be large enough but again I want to be sure before I pull the trigger!

You'll want to keep in mind that different media requires different flow rates so having each separate is best so that you can control flow. My 3 are plumbed to a manifold that runs off a mag 7 and i control the flow with individual ball valves
