Algae growing on toadstool - help

I was wondering if anyone had a good remedy for green algae growing on the face of my large toadstool coral? It looks healthy except in the big spots where the algae is encrusted onto it & it can't extend its tentacles. Is there a way to scrape the coal or buy medication to address this?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

getting rid of algae

I have a soft toothbrush duct taped to the end of a long dowel. I use that to get algae off of corals. It is soft and doesn't hurt them at all. You can also hit it gently with a small pump and blow the algae off. A turkey baste sometimes works too.

Good luck.
