Anemone won't open

So I have this small bubble tip nem that hasent opened up in 6-8 weeks...just closed up..not melting.
I've fed it chunk of raw shrimp..but its hard as I have to hold it on the mouth until it gets a good hold.
It moves around if I put it under direct light.
Could it be annoyed with my clown constant trying to live in it?
Was thinking of moving it to a hanging mesh basket at the top of the tank..
Any thoughts I can try?

That’s weird. I have cut some in half and they stay open... I wonder if water parameters are off.

You can try the basket but if it is moving around I don’t know if you would get a different response. Does it have tentacles still? Maybe they got nipped off and it looks like it is closed?

6-8 weeks? That’s crazy. In general I don’t think I’d feed an anemone chucks of shrimp if it weren’t 100%. Maybe try really small food or not feeding it at all. If it’s weakened it probably can’t digest a big piece of shrimp and it’ll probably spoil in its stomach and cause more problems.
