trying to decide on a course of action for the lighting of my not yet set up 60g cube and was wondering if taking apart my Odyssea 4x24" T5 light to make a kind of ghetto retrofit kit would be a good idea. i love that light and all the timer options, so was wondering if incorporating that setup into a fixture that would include my jbj pacifica 108w LED tablet would even be a possibility without major headaches.
also toying with the idea of my 150w de metal halide in the middle of the T5's as opposed to the LED.
another option would be to just buy a retrofit kit...anyone know if i can program light times with an apex gold? i bought ShawnB's last week off the forum (with TONS of extra goodies) and am not at all familiar with its capabilities.
