Anyone ever keep an Abalone?

Just wondering if anyone has an Abalone in their tank? Any experiences to share past or present?

I ahve had one for over a year. Pretty cool creature. Has caused no problems at all. It has never left the glass and is active only at night. Only warning is that they are very" Sticky" more than a regular snail, you cannot try to "peel" them off the glass or the bag that they come in or it will kill them.

I purchased two many years ago. One died within a few weeks, but the other lived for about 1 year. I would have expected it to live much longer. Don't know what if anything I did wrong.

I know Jake has one, I believe his was a hitchhiker that has never died.
