So I have noticed the last few days my AOG zoas were only half opened. Tonight I see my two orange and white clowns biting at the polyps which is keeping them closed. Is this pre mating behavior??? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401328277.814480.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1401328290.328699.jpg

Both of my clowns host my Zoas, but I have never seen them bite them!

When they first started to host them, the Zoas stayed halfway closed. Now they stay open even if my clowns get a little too rough.

Ya weird thing is they have been hosting the zoas for a few months now. Dunno why all of a sudden they are biting them.

Could they be trying to clean a spot (house keeping) in perp of possible egg laying? Especially if they have been using them in the past and this is a new habit. Just thinking out loud
