Auto top off stopped working

I just noticed that my zoas aqua auto top off has stopped pumping water up to my tank. The water level is currently well below. censor and the corals are not happy. The salinity is at 1.027 which isn’t to high but I will do a water change to bring it back down. I am not sure if the pump has stopped working or something went wrong with the sensor. Should I try and clean the pump and see if that helps. Let me know what you think is wrong and what I should do. Thanks

Clean the blue sensor in sump. If it gets slime on it it wont call the pump to turn on. I swear by these ato's. Or pull out two plugs in controller and it will reset. Also if your power strip on its way out so plug a extension cord to it.

I cleaned everything off and it is still not working. My monti has bleached due to the salinity change and my octospawn is losing tissue. I am going to do a water change later today, can I do anything else to stop this tissue loss.

Ya add top off water everyday or buy new ato. If that was kalk in there your asking for trouble with pumps. Try to not have pump sitting in stuff at bottom

Keep your problems simple. First thing is just add some water manually and only change the water if it's due. The salt is still in the tank and it just needs water right?....
Optical sensors seem a bit witchcraft like in their operation, so I have some old school type float switches that I use for testing. It's not difficult to make a connection wire or even a jumper to substitute the on signal. Verify your pump works if directly powered.

Regardless of the root cause of failure......pour some RODI WATER IN AND STOP THE TISSUE LOSS!
