As many titanium heaters are really not made out of pure titanium. I am not sure if yours is made out of pure titanium or not.
I was send a document from a major aquarium equipment manufacturer oversea, which stated titanium heaters are not suitable for saltwater uses and it also stated that the PCT technology was not suitable for saltwater use (which I don’t know why, just take this as a grain of salt).
But your mileage will vary. If they works for you, please ignore what I said.
For heaters, I only use quartz glass heaters for reef tanks to avoid potential problems.
