Battery backup/ups?

Hi, all! Quick question. Need to get a new surge protector bc I need more space for plugs. Does anyone use a battery back up unit/universal power? I used one back in the day for my computer but wondering if would be good for the tank and its equipment. Thanks.

It will run some stuff but for only a very short time. It really depends what you try and run. A single power head will run for a while but heater and return pump will not last long. If you are worried about power out and water flow get a b11 battery powered air pump to run an air stone in the tank. It will turn on when power goes out. Also if you use vortech power heads you can make a battery back up that will run for about 36 hours. Here is the link to the write up on the vortech battery back up.
