What do you think of this UPS backup battery?

Not sure on those ,
In a pinch you can use a deep cycle marine battery with a dc to ac inverter .Run the ph off of that . U just have to have access to the car when the battery needs to be recharged .
Deep cycles hold a charge longer than a car battery .

U can buy them as low as 30.00. Some connect directly to a car dc voltage and some plug in to a cig lighter ,The one I am referring to connects with clips to a battery and has the ac plugs on the back .I had the one with the clips so the battery was in the house and near the tank .
The one below has to have a extension cord running from the car to the home .

I will look for the one with the clips and edit the post .

Here is one . Look at the positive and negative posts on the unit labeled .That connects to a battery .

U can still use your car battery but it wont last as long as a boat marine deep cycle unit .

It worked well until I found a gen during the floyd and fran days .

No problem
My bud in NC can't get a hold of someone to help load my gen in storage . He went to Harbor Freight and got a small inverter for 20.00 . He is getting his Durango battery charged at auto zone as we speak .

I use the 825VA version and it has been working well for me. I only have a Koralia Nano (5 watts) plugged into the battery terminal and it stays on everytime the power shuts off. Fortunately I've never had the power off long enough for the battery to drain.

The one you posted has a 625VA/390W capacity so I'm assuming at a rate of 8w per hour 390/8 = 48 hours.
