The Bad

Little Time and Temp - Malfunctioned most of the time

Eheim ball powerhead ? Venturi did not work well

Instant Ocean Hydrometer ? Frustration with air bubbles messing up the readings.

Turbofloater Protein Skimmer Hang on Tank ? This monster is too big for a hang on tank, the pump is too huge, it does not attach to an acrylic tank well, too noisy. Aqua C Remora are supposedly much better, but I have never tried.

NOW its your turn...Whats your favorites (and least favorites)?

Okay, not the question asked, but I feel it's necessary to point out. If you're using a Won heater, you may want to switch, just ask Armando. They have a tendency to fail and wind up killing everything in your tank. Just a heads up; do a search for the Won heaters and you'll read all about them!

Won heaters

Hi Eric

What do you suggest besides Won heaters?

Mine has been good to date. Titanium rules (I have cracked too many glass ones)

Cheers

Via Aqua Sells ti tubes. .. Mark at fishy business has some really nice ones, but I can't put my finger on the brand... i think you need a controller for them too..really nice.
