Bicarbonate of soda

I have always used reef specific products for alkalinity boosting but due to increased system size this is now too expensive,could someone please remind me of the bicarbonate of soda dosing regime for raising alkalinity,thanks

Liam, I think the basic equation is 1 teaspoon of baking soda to 25g of topoff water which will slowly raise your alk over time to avoid harmful PH swings. Anyone else chime in if your results/calcs are different. I don't use it myself but leaning towards that option because b-ionic is getting too expensive.
