brass or stainless steel used in tank

Hey Guys,

I am looking to use a solenoid valve in my tank and am having a hard time finding an all plastic housing that I can use. Can anyone tell me if Brass or Stainless steel can be used. I am leary about using brass as it is similar in composition to copper, stainless i am not sure about. Corrosion is going to happen with pretty much any metal in saltwater so... I dunno. Any feedback would be great.

I have stainless stell clamps that I use and they are under water and they have already started to rust and they have only been in a couple of weeks
