Hey All,

BRS is on its way to Huntington Station, L.I. New York for Long Island Reef Association's annual frag swap. Currently on the Cross Sound ferry and have about 2 hours to go until reaching out destination.

Just had dinner with the crew from LIRA, great group of guys. For anyone that doesn't know me, I clearly can't stop talking and had everyone dying tonight with laughter. 7 am comes quick.

This is what about three hours of sleep look like. @scavdog and I are barely bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. Other than the fact that he or I can't stop incessantly snoring, I'd travel with him anytime, lol.

Bought myself 35 pounds of some nice Australian Live Rock at the show from Jason at Pristine Marine, After the show I found out from Brian and @TheCoralFarm that he sells it as well HERE. Definitely pricey but where has anyone seen rock like this, I know I haven't in years.

I spent $100 in raffle tickets and luckily won quite a few things. Tub of super glue, always a use.

Won a couple liters of ESV 2 part but gave them back as I utilize a large calcium reactor. I won an Innovative Marine 15 gallon fusion tank that I will set up as species specific, maybe shrooms or macros.

Also, won a 48" AI Blade Gro led light.

The guys at LIRA were an amazing group of people and super hospitable. @scavdog and myself had a great time. We got off the ferry in Orient Point, some 74 miles away at roughly 8PM and they waited around for us to drop our merchandise off, we then went out to dinner and shared reefing stories, club challenges and shared a few laughs. Joe and I finally checked into our hotel a little after 1 AM. Thinking we slept maybe 3 hours total all weekend.

I signed up for yearly membership and can't wait to keep building the reef keeping community. Met some amazing industry people and hobbyists alike. I even talked to people about BRS, LIRA and reefing as a whole to a large group of people at Sally's Apizza in New Haven, CT when we stopped for the first real food intake of the day on our long ride home.

Top it all off, I came home to see this delivery had arrived.
4 GHL Mitras 7206 LED Lights in White and a GHL Maxi Doser 2.2

Now to pay for the new tank build, lol.
