Clown Hosting Question

I now have a female Onyx and a small male true perc. When I had my Ocellaris my small male would never come out of his corner because the female use to chase it around. The female never adjusted to another clown when the male Ocellaris took a carpet dive after a year.

The Onyx hosted within a day and the male is now starting to hover around the BTA and it has never been around it before.

Will the male be able to host in the BTA with the Onyx if it wants to, or does the female usually get protective and kick a male out?

If the female likes accepts the male, then she will let him in.

My female allows the male in with her and only occasionally pushes him out. But they're usually in there together Tom.
