DIY skimmer stand

This thing is a beast all made out of 2x4 but I was just trying it out to get ready to make a 29g stand, this stand is HEAVY and I sat on it and it didn't budge, I think it could hold an elephant

And here it is holding the skimmer, it fit perfect

And in its final resting place, not sure if ill end up skinning it or not, what do you guys think?

Nope it's plastic, brass colored, I've already made that mistake once

You could. I have a 2x4 and 2x6 stand for my current tank. I stained it with ebony colored stain. Looks much much better. Not up the gf's standards of "furniture" but it met my needs haha

Yea same here, works for me the way it is but she's not so fond, maybe ill wait and skin it when I make my stand/shell that will go around my iron stand to make em match
