I have a bag of frozen shrimp I blend half a shrimp and feed my tank and they all love it. Even the mandarin. I do still supplement pods though. Actually have my biggest jar I’ve gotten yet coming in the mail today or tomorrow

Sounds good. I’ve done similar before for food but with a super market seafood meadly. Throw in blender then make into a frozen cubes (ice cube tray) or flats. Super cheap and easy. Look for uncooked and as preservative free as possible.

Because of my puffer I’m trying to steer away from hard corals anyway. I have select ones tucked in a corner for him to trim his beak with and that’s all.

I’ve always learned that acrylic tanks like your sump should be fully supported from below unlike glass tanks where supporting at rim/intermittently is fine.

May not be an issue, idk, but I’d personally take it of of the 2x4 riser and set it directly onto 1”rigid foam on the ground.

I’d also raise the top edge of the filter sock a couple inches above the water vs. fully submerged.

It was some decoration I had put in my 20gallon freshwater tank. All fake corals were attached by metal rods. Took them out as soon as I realized that. The rock is all real though and there is nothing fake in there anymore except the green anemone in the back left corner. Plan on taking it out today though as I just got a real one yesterday.

Better than ever. I didn’t realize my tank was cloudy at all until one day I woke up and it was more clear than I’ve ever seen it! Had plans to grab some frags yesterday but I got my wisdom teeth out and it just didn’t end up working out. Definitely will post a picture of them once they’re acquired and in the tank!

Got some great zoas, mushrooms and a nice chunk on monti from @Kens Bees Added a pair of clowns and a ton of live rock from @crabby
I think the scape is finally done and now it’s time to focus on what I have and chill with adding livestock. Unless I see something that I think I just have to have…… it happens a lot……. (Black and white pic is showing the monti. It doesn’t show up on my phone camera otherwise)
