Flow for a Yellow Gargonian Sea Fan

i had a brown spiney sea fan a while back and i had it in direct current and it loved it .. this yellow one hasnt really opened all that much ... think it needs more flow? i had it in the near center of the tank .. not much flow .. i just moved it to the bottom right corner ... highest flow in tank ..

suggestions? i think this one is a filter feeder not a photosynthetic one ... is that a good supposition?

since it moved it to the high flow .. prolly 20 polyps have opened a little .. we'll see tomorrow how it likes it i guess

the yelow sea rods usually do best under moderate flow and they are nonphoto they will actually close up to smaller particals(Sp whatever) when targeted food
