Was I just slow on the uptake?

I was buying 30g boxed Nori for my tangs at Petco. "10 packs" as they call it for around 8 bucks or more at a shot.

I stopped in at my local Asian Market today, and got 125g, 50 paper sized sheets, for less than that. The Nori was much greener once introduced to the tank water as well. It was like hitting the lottery! The fish loved it, and I'd reason fit for humans is better for them too.

It's used in many dishes. Most commonly, it's the wrap on the edge of a rice doughnut in a California roll (sushi).

My fish like the purple nori much better than the green. I get both figuring that a more diverse diet is good, but they always fight over the purple.
