yes it is for cyano

So it's the Boyd's chemiclean.
Yes,I've used it in the past to"reboot"my system.
It worked fine but the cyano eventually came back a few weeks later.
MAKE SURE YOU AIRATE,follow the direction to a T.
How old is your tank?Many tanks have cyano outbreaks with the first 6 months.
How well does your skimmer work?

I don't have an airstone. Is it really neccessary? What about my skimmer, filter, and my koralias. It was due to not using RO water which I am using now. I have had it for almost 9 months. Please let me know. Thanks. How long do I need to keep all this off?

Your skimmer will go nuts after dosing this stuff.It will foam over like crazy.
I can't remember how long it takes to work.But,make sure you have water ready for a change when that time comes.
