High Magnesium levels

I was doing a water test, and my magnesium level seems too high. Its 1900, when its supposed to be around 1300. How can I lower it?

I'd double check that reading because without dosing a huge amount of Mag supplement I think it would be unlikely for it to be that high.

If it truly is that high I would just let it lower itself naturally and by doing water changes.

On what Barry said.
Also what is your SG?It would have to be quite high to have that much of a Mg. reading.Some of these the kits can be difficult to see the color change.
Also,the only way to drop Mg.,that I know of is water changes.

check your test also if you have another reefer close to you bring some water and have them test. Or if you make the meeting......
