It appears that my elegance coral has a small crab or something between the flesh and skeleton. Looks to have little orange legs but I don't see claws. Curious if someone may know what it is and how to get rid of it without harming the coral. This is my second elegance and I don't want to lose it.

There is something on Reef Central about a gall crab that likes elegance coral. Hopefully you don't have one. It sounds mean.

Unfortunately, I think Barb hit the nail on the head. Not to remove it without damaging the elegance. I just got it at CMAC and it wasn't cheap.

Yeah, I remember when you bought it. They were a reputable vendor too. I was hoping I was wrong because it seems like it will be hard to remove. Did you read the part about trapping the female so she can't get out? That's just wrong. lol

Squirt some superglue on it seal it in. Is it embedded into the coral?

Yea I read that part. I don't think I can glue it. Its a good size. I'm going to try tweezers. Another guy did it with a flat head screwdriver.
