How to raise my Nitrates a bit

Need some help just raising my Nitrates abit for Zoas. Not a fan of over feeding to get there. Any other method I can do to achieve this?

Do we know that zoas can uptake nitrate from the water? Not saying they don't, I just never heard that they did???

I have seen some discussions about dosing nitrate to supplement carbon dosing (for the common situation where a system becomes nitrate limited and then phosphate starts to creep up). IIRC a specific type of nitrate compound or two was recommended. I'll see if I can find a link.
