I guess nothing to do now but cut the glass out and replace with a non tempered glass pane and redrill.

So I guess I am off to the depot for some glass.

What really sucks is I broke the top frame getting it off. But maybe because I am installing glass dividers it wont matter not having a top frame.

I just hope the 10 gallon doesn't do this.

Here's a question, should I put the new glass into the 20 and then drill. Or cut the glass to size, drill and then silicone to the tank ?

cut it first, it will be easier to handle. and if it breaks again you wont have wasted time siliconing it in

Drill then silicone, will be easier as well won't have worry about putting too much pressure on the tank minus the bracing. Sorry to see Jen, that sucks!

Thanks Tabby and cilly.
It does suck, but I am not upset at all. I am annoyed that now I have more work to do.
Oh well I am just rollin with what ever comes my way, the more work I put into a custom tank system the more I will enjoy it.

Actually I sort of laughed when it happened. The LOUD snap it made startled me.

That is strange. Do you know what brand of tank it is/was?

It is strange isn't it. Never would have guessed.
I am not sure but I think it is an AGA. I have had it for some time, not sure how old it is.
