Betadine is supposedly not as harsh as Iodine and I believe it dillutes better in water. I think you can get Betadine in a clear form too.

what concentrations and for how long to dip the new corals ???

FWIW, I never lost any corals due to 40 ppm dips in Levamisole. OTOH, I probably haven't dipped as many corals as some folks. I never had to deal with the Acro flatworms, but I did clear one of my frag tanks about a year ago of the Montipora nudis by using multiple dips in Levamisole. Annoying as heck to get any of the parasites in though.....so choose your dip and start a dippin'.
