Lighting is so confusing to many reefers.

Please post tank pics, so we can see what light is over certain corals and how it's mounted.

Why or why not you'd buy lights again.

Par running around tank.

anything else to help, problems with apps or lights, customer service, mounting, adjusting, the good, bad, ugly.

Also size of tank or tanks.

Why did you chose particular light. Did you use one brand and upgrade and why.

Please be as detailed as you would like.

I use Reefbreeders. Have used these for the last few years, mostly MH before that.

Tank I am posting is an 80 gallon deep blu but am in transition to bigger tank after a calcium reactor mishap that pretty much wiped this out. Picture and video is of the tank in the fall of 2021 after it was set up about 2.5 years.

Lights are four 16" Reefbreeder photon V2. I started with two of these over the tank and didn't think it was enough spread to cover the 48x24 footprint so got two more. Par was really high for a while before checking with PSR meter. Was running about 650 at water surface and about 400 on sand bed. Raised the lights to get this down to about 450 at surface and 300 on sand bed. Colors in corals got a bit deeper after that.

Support is amazing from Anthony and Reefbreeders. They are currently building me some custom extension cables for my lights so I can use them on my new tank build and if they work they will offer them as a new product. They listen to customers and try to deliver solutions that they think could help additional users.

4x Radion G5 Pros with front to back orientation + 4 T5s over 72L x 30W x 21H tank with mostly sps frags. Par range from 400'ish on the top section of rock (which is 9 inches below water line) to 200ish on the bottom.

4x AI Hydra 26 HD on a 36L x 18W x 20H tank with LPS and softies. Par range from 260 to 110

3x Radion G5 Blue + 4 T5s over 36L x 36W x 21H tank with mostly SPS. Similar to the other one the radions are in front to back orientation. Par range from 510 to 280
