looking for skimmer info

My pump just died on my skimmer and I was looking into getting a new one, but the skimmer is only rated for 110 gallons. I have a 90 with 55 gal sump that probably holds 30-35 gals with the skimmer and sand and rock , ect. now I am hooking up another 55 back to back to the other 55 that will hold probably 35-40 gallons and I was going to pipe in a 20 gallon long for a frag tank on the side . So now I will have a total of 170+ gallons in my system so what size skimmer should I get? Any info would be great.

Thanks

I think in general you always want to oversize your skimmer, so if I follow the bouncing ball that would be 170+ gallons

depends on what type of organisms ur planning on housing in the tank...Sps require a 3-4 times turnover rate...

More nutrient freindly species require less of a turnover rate...But the minimum...2 times the tank water rating....
