Micro Bubbles

Don’t know what cause it but I usually see Dino and cyano after micro bubbles appeared

Hmm I would check your return pump and water levels. If it was a new tank I wouldn’t think too much of it..but that fact it’s been going on for a year is weird.

In my experience if my water level drops too low the pump will begin sucking in air and creating bubbles. Which can end up causing damage to the pump itself.

Have you ever checked to see if your tank is level? Sometimes an un-level tank can cause chambers to fill up incorrectly and also cause micro bubbles.

Hopefully some other members can provide some input as well.

Kind of already covered but…

-Micro bubbles in the water is usually from air getting into the pump intake ( exception being the occasional vortex at the water surface if an output is too high)
-bubbles trapped in algae is often the first sign of dinos.
-but little bubbles everywhere including in the water is probably air getting into the pump’s intake.

Could also be from the skimmer. Everytime I clean my redsea skimmer, it always produce microbubbles for a day then goes away once its built up with crap.
