Need recommendation for 4' LED Supplement lighting - No canopy

I miss the shimmering effect since I went with T5's, and I prefer the LED pop to the ATI Actinic bulbs I currently have.
So, now I'm looking to retrofit something onto or alongside a 4' Tek light fixture with Legs.

Does anyone simply supplement for LED 'Trippy effect' and how do you do it and keep it looking nice and neat? I don't have a canopy any more as it made the tank look 'bulky' to my wife so it had to go, as a result mounting something in one is not an option.

I use a 36" reef brite led strip and love it. Was on a 55 and I also did not have a canopy so I removed all the bulbs from my 48" t5 light future and screwed it to the side of the fixture returned the bulbs and done I'll try to post I pic when I'm on a computer
