I have a 40b reef ready tank I'm looking into buying 36" Metal Halide With 4 T-5 total watts 406W. Would I need a chiller for it or no

I will go with LED's if you can. save on electricity no need for chiller.

36" Metal Halide With 4 T-5 total watts 406W --> for sure you will need chiller .
36" 6 T-5 234W --> fan can help if the room is cool.

I run 2 -250 watts with pc accents and no chiller, I just run the house a/c all summer and kills two birds with one stone.

I just received 3 value fixtures from Reefbreeders. Built very well and put out a ton of light. Not to mention they were only $160 each from the group buy. I know the Photons are even stronger and have way more features. You should pm Logan at Reefbreeders and he will help you figure out exactly what you need. Just my thoughts.
