Newbie question. Daily Ph fluctuations

Hi. I have quick question. My daily ph is varying from 8.1 to 8.3 and 8.15 to 8.35. Is this an acceptable range? I am using kalk and my alk and calc seem to be in range. I have a 72gal dt and 20g sump with a few sps and lps. Thanks

are you using a calibrated PH probe btw

Yes. I recently purchased a neptune apex unit and calibrated the ph.

It's fine.
Quite frankly I rarely test PH,maybe every three months.
Alk is much more important.

I think the problem is with the Apex the Ph LOOKS like it is up, down because the way the graph looks. The increments on the graph are very small, so it looks worse than it is. I wouldnt worry about it.
