noisy bio cube

so i set my new bio cube up and this thing is noisy sounds like a ruuning toilet lol.i didnt put the bio balls in.i have heater in chamber 1. 2nd chamber just the drip tray and the carbon filter it comes with. 3rd chamber pump and sponge is came with.i think i dont have enough water in back which is why its so noisy. do i fill it all the way up or keep it within the min in max on the side

When I had mine, I kept it filled above the lines. Watch the carbon filter, it clogs up over time.

Also, check some of the other forums(nano-reef comes to mind) for mods people make to make them even better. I know one I did to get more flow was to cut the wall a little bit deeper on the first chamber. Here is a helpful link: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/180788-the-biocube-resource-guide/

i added more water made a bigg diffrence ill check out the nano site im looken to mod the light not a big fan of the pc/led combo
