It seems so, but, nature may find a way with a little help from us. There are two sides to predictions from models. Darwin explained the rest of why all hope is not lost.
I am pulling for the system to make it.
Don't despair. Every day we make decisions that effect the planet. It is on every one of us to do the right thing. The economy will respond to how we like to live. Don't burn fuel for nothing. Burn less, use less of everything. Buy items with no plastic packaging. Reduce, reuse all you can. It is the only way we will all turn this ship into the storm and fight it together, united as one crew. Don't worry about how others around you live. Live by example.

Reefers may be the coral bank that, if the countries smarten up and get to 0 emissions (sooner or later they will have to) could be used to reseed the oceans.
