Odd shaped Clam

Picked up this Derasa (i think so) over the weekend from All things aquatics.

First I thought, some fish took a bite out of this clam . But then realized that he has an odd growth pattern. Probably a wild specimen with one of the lateral end that grew over some flat rock surface. The section after the Inhalant Siphon looks as though is chopped, but in fact the shell has grown flat. You will see the flat surface in the second picture.

btw, based on the mantle I'm not able to say whether this is Derasa or a Gigas. Any thoughts?

This is how he would look, if I tried to keep him on his foot (btw, he doesn't have any visible byssal opening!)
