Ricordia Advise needed

I noticed one of my ricordia not opened as usual and it has a cloudy mucas kind of stuff on it.I removed the mucas stuff.Does anyone have any ideas what this is?

Well I'm not sure what it is but,It kills them.The thing was 3 inches accross it shrivelled up to a dime size released it self from the rock.I found it in the sand hard.All others look ok.

put some holes in the top half of a soda bottle then put top of the soda bottle over it and keep an eye on it for a few days. I found one of mine like that once an it did come back but it took a while but mine was because it got stuck out of the light I think it was starving its doing ok now but still smaller than the others

I lost a whole rock of green mushrooms to this and it spreads by touch. nothing I could do to stop it. it even got one stray ricordia
