I've been searching for a water resevoir for a hydroponic system I've set up and came across RV water tanks. These plastic tanks were the perfect size and can be found on eBay for about 1/4 to 1/6 the list price above. I paid $35 for a 10 gallon tank. The square sides and tall dimensions are perfect for an under-tank top off as no space is wasted. You can easily add straps to the sides for fill up / carry.

In the past I've used 5 gal portable water holders, which cost about the same and are great but are not quite as space efficient and are not offered in 10G+ sizes. Fish tanks at the $ per gallon pricing can also work but are typically low, shallow, and are not very space efficient.

Just wanted to share this find as our hobby is expensive enough without paying over $100 for a 5 gallon acrylic top-off.
