Salinity Question

My original salinity ref. broke today in the middle of switching my 5 over to my new 90. i went out and bought a new one and it was saying 1.023 then to 1.032. wwnt out again and bought a diffrent kind and its doing the same thing. i dont want to wake up and have dead coal and inverts. what should i do???

Calibrate the refractometer with either RODI or distilled water. Just turn the set screw till you get a 0 reading, retest your saltwater and you should be good to go.

I thought you were using a hydrometer, which can have allot of fluctuation in the readings from air bubbles.
