Call me IGOR :)
Ok guys its time for the official Boston Reefers Tank of the Quarter contest :highly_amused:.

Post your nominations below along with the Tank's build/picture thread. They will then be forwarded over to a voting poll. You will have two weeks to post nominations, then one week to vote.

Please note that EVERY nominated tank HAS to have a picture or build thread. Dead line for nominations is April 30th 2015

The winner will have his/her choice of a $50 gift certificates from one of our sponsors. Their tank info, pictures and thread will also be posted on the front page. A BOD member will also be available to come by and take more pictures while gathering any more info for the front page post. (Optional)

All contestants MUST be paid members by the time the "voting poll" goes into effect. So, if you are nominated you have until April 30th to become a paid member. The voting pole will be posted right after that.

To become a paid member, go to http://www.bostonreefers.org/forums/payments.php at anytime :).

Good luck everyone

Thanks for the kind words guys. But can I withdraw from the nomination? Honestly, I just don't feel the tank deserves to be even nominated. The tank is barely 6 months old with corals in it. The many 1" frags need sometime to grow and show their full potential.

To me, a tank that deserves to be nominated is a tank that has been up and running for awhile. And a tank which show sustainability and growth. You can't just fill the tank with water and get a bunch of fully grown colonies from the ocean or other members and say you've done it.

For this reason, I want to nominate Chrissy.

Not only this is a great looking tank but she also has multiple tanks in a great set up. I truly admire the work since I know how much we all put effort in our tank.

That is not what BRS is about Nick.

BRS is about promoting and encouraging members and hobbyists of all levels to participate in this great Hobby of ours. New tank, Old Tank, High Tech Tank, Low tech Tank, Inexperienced or Pro anyone can be the "Tank of the Quarter".

We all respect your opinion and you can withdraw from the contest if you would like. Just let me know.

Thank you for your nomination on the other hand.

Thank you! Your post means a lot to me. I think yours is amazing and deserves recognition and nomination regardless of how long it has been running! It's gorgeous!
