What do you feed softies?

I'm going to try my first softy this week, however I don't know what they eat. I have moderate lighting. What should I feed? Thanks.

i shut my pumps down for about an hour and use live phyto

I use phytoplankton as well and even some frozen shrimp. I don't shut my pumps off. I also feed them zooplankton.

I don't feed them anything directly. I make homemade fish goo that has cyclop-eeze, phyto, and seachem vitamins mixed in.

you can feed your hole tank with a home made fish goo or fish mush just dont over feed you can end up with problems buy over feeding.you can find a recipe for fish mush at www.littlereef.com

i didn't feed my softies anything.
there are a few that require direct feeding (i.e. sun polyps, flower pots), but most of them don't require any special feeding.

Some say Iodine helps. I used it for awhile then forgot to for a longer while. No apparent difference

generally nothing. Sometimes I hit it with some plankton additive (liquid life etc)
