I feed them fish poop. That is the best food you can feed them.

My tank is too clean with zero P04 and zero NO3. Yet when I overfeed I get cyano, not much but traces. I found a thread on R2R that my zero nitrates could be limiting the reduction of P04. So I recently started dosing NO3 Stump remover (Potassium Nitrate). I'm only one week into NO3 so I cant really comment.

+1 Fish poop. If you have a good nutrient export system, then an overload of fish, well feeded, is the best coral food.
I add a dose of red sea aa once in a while. And is only because I have the bottles in the frige.
