What kind of paint should I use

I need to paint a meral stand with rust proof paint. I can't use spray paint because I need to do it in door. What kind of paint should I use? Thanks

I would use Rustoleum, but I am no expert, just had good luck with the stuff before.

Currently painting a metal stand with rustoleum primer and black gloss paint. I am using the paint in the can and using a brush rather than spray paint.

I have seen where people that have metal stands put the Rhino bed liner believe it rolls on with a paint roller looks good, but If you search on reef centeral some talk about it there.
