Anenome Question

I have a Condi anenome on a piece of rock that I want to chisel smaller. The anenome is in a hole so I can't remove it, I may be able to get it to move if I direct a powerhead into the hole temporarily but I'm not sure. My question is this; can I remove the rock with the anenome on it to do the chiseling or will being out of water damage the anenome? Also how long could the anenome be out of water without damage? I am pretty sure I can mangle the rock into the shape I want in about a minute or two at most.

Ummm...I think it will kill the anenome.

Something to consider - Condis are kinda finicky - if you move the rock around a bunch and annoy it, it might just let loose.

Being out of the water will not kill it. My rose was out on my counter for at least 15 minutes when I cut it in half and both halves survived.

Same here. My BTA's are out for even longer. Just don't take your time, you'll be ok.
