I have a green algae problem on my live rock. It does not appear to be hair algae. Tried a sea hare with no luck. Is there a particular type of snail that will take care of it? Thanks

get some tiny blue legged hermits , if its short . but if its long and stringy then manual removal will be needed Some will say " dose hydrogen peroxide "I am not a bi fan of doing this to me thats as bad as putting in bleach lol. Once a "crew" is in there you will have to find the source of the nutrients feeding the algae and deplete them . Then you can be rid of the problem .

Can you please post a photo of the hair algae? Also how big is your tank?

Mexican turbos. Amazing. I had red turf algae. They took care of it. I added 6 small ones in a 90. Unfortunately they were so effective they didn't last longer than a few months. But they stayed small. Turbos can be a big as golf balls and will wreak havoc on your aquascape. Now my tangs keep it clean.
