WTB Bryopsis (typically mistaken as GHA)

Dayron

Hi I am keeping sea lettuce slugs and they eat bryopsis. I am running low on these because they are eating faster than I can produce them (I have a separate tank growing this algae and still can’t produce enough lol). I started off with a small patch of these algae and have noticed that I am not sustainably growing them anymore.

It basically looks like GHA, however, it looks fern like if you look closely.

If anyone around Boston could give me some of these pest algae that would be awesome!

It grows like a weed in my overflow where the Turbos can’t find it. I can collect some for you. There’s a chance it’s actually cladophoropsis but I can send a picture if you like to confirm first.

Hi, that looks like bryopsis plumosa aka hen pen. I am definitely not 100% sure because this genus is so vast. I'll send you a pm :) thanks for reaching out.
