So I am building a rimless tank to house substrate for a bio active Chameleon tank.

1. Anyone have ideas as to where to get glass cut from in the North Boston or north-west Boston area?

2. I’m planning on 1/4” glass is this enough for roughly a 25 gallon. Dimensions are 24”w x 24”l x 10”ish h.

3. How thick should the bead of silicone be? I’m using asi black silicone. It will be inside of this, but I want it to be usable without the frame if I choose to later on.

I've used Brad's glass in Canton. It might be a little out of your way, but he does great work and been happy with all dealings with him. The pic is an SCA 100 I got from Dani Estrada on this site with a broken right end panel. Approx 24 x 24 low iron starfire glass 1/2" thickness with a perfect bevel exactly like factory was under $200.
