Calcium reactor media ??

I'm using ARM media in our reef octopus reactor. Its basically coral skeletons. We've been using it a year and so far its done a great job keeping calcium, alkalinity and magnesium in check in our 75 gallon sps dominated. I can't think of any complaints so far.

A fellow BRS reefer was telling me that some have more Magnesium than others?

I used the fine arm and it seemed to disolve quicker, i also tried the korallin media but had to add magnesium like crazy. This new coarse ARM says on the bottle that it has added magnesium and i have found that I dont have to add nearly as much or as often than before. Just my experience though.

I use ARM coarse as well. It is hands down a much better option than the fine/medium stuff IMO.

ARM coarse media and you can add about 10% Dolomite to it to keep up your Magnesium if needed.

Ive used CRM and ARM. I like both CRM is coral skeletons, but for some reason cant get it anymore so i Switched to ARM. It says It has added MG
