compatability of 2 tangs in a 4' 120 gal

Im sure the tang police will disagree but i think two would be fine in that sized tank.

Yah, you can... You will need to introduce them at the same time or mix up the rockwork for the best compatibility. Also, don't expect to keep them in there for more than a few years AT BEST as The OS will grow pretty quickly. Also, and FWIW, they do need a lot of space to be really happy {Yes, I've asked them ;)} so you will notice more aggression and a greater risk of mortality from stress than if they had at least a 6' tank.

I've kept two tangs in a 4' 120 in the past. The experience thouroghly convinced me that it was not a good idea. They seemed to be constantly aware of each other, and both constantly seemed to be crowded for lack of a better word.

IMO single tangs in a 120 seem a little cramped, but much happier than when there are two in a tank that size.

I feel strongly about this, but it is subjective since I couldn't exactly ask them how happy they were :)
