Direct Flow Coral Options

In my nano tank there is a direct high flow/high light area; basically right in front of the powerhead. Obviously this is a hard area for coral and some birdsnest and another acro recently scummed most likely aided by the stress of ]the high flow. It's a Deep Blue 12" cube reef with a Jeabo RW-4 in the upper left corner.

Any thoughts on a good coral for this area?

I was considering trying some zoas or an encrusting monti, but was hoping a coral with vertical growth in this area.

Photosynthetic Gorgonians seem to accept being in front of powerheads and high flow. Maybe some kind of turbinaria, I have a turbinaria peltata and also one with smaller polyps that I know as scroll coral and those are great corals and even have different growth morphology depending on flow type
